The consortium had a project meeting hosted by Novamont.
SSTAR project met in Novara, Italy, on May 23rd and 24th.
NOVAMONT hosted representatives from all the consortium. It was the perfect opportunity to share some knowledge and plan ahead the next few months. The partners had the possibility to visit some laboratories used for research purposes.
The project will start from Solid-State Transformers (SSTs), a recent promising innovative technology, and aims at increasing their operational voltage level to enlarge their applications, while improving the energy sector in a more sustainable way.
It’s the first step towards a transition to a more sustainable energy sector as reported by EcoDalleCittà , local Italian newspaper which featured SSTAR into its local news!
