Beyond the Prototype: From Development to Deployment of High Voltage Solid-State Transformers

The SSTAR consortium is pleased to welcome you to the Final Event of the project.

Register here!

The SSTAR Final Event marks a transition point for power system innovation, shifting the focus from technological development to system integration and future deployment of solid-state transformers in medium-voltage DC grids.

Organised by the SSTAR consortium, the Final Event will showcase the project’s key results, achievements and insights gained throughout its duration, while providing a platform for exchange and forward-looking discussion on the next steps for the sector.

The event brings together invited experts from industry, grid operation, policy and society to look beyond technical performance and address real-world adoption, sustainability objectives and the role of SSTs in shaping the next phase of grid innovation.

The event will be held in a hybrid format.

If you registered for online attendance, you can find the YouTube link in your Teams calendar.

The registration deadline for in-person attendance has passed. If you registered for in-person attendance after 18 February, please wait for our confirmation email.
