Are we ready to decarbonize the energy sector? Your opinion matters!

Please fill in the survey! Your feedback is essential for ensuring that our technologies meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders like you.

We invite you to take part in a survey for the SSTAR project. In SSTAR, we aim to develop Solid-State Transformers (SSTs), increase their operational voltage level, and promote their application in the energy sector.

Please access the survey here

Filling the survey takes 5-10 minutes.

Deadline: January 15, 2026

Thank you for your time and support in making the SSTAR project successful!

About SSTAR and its technology…

SSTAR will:

  • Develop a new biobased dielectric fluid for the SST, to increase the SSTs modules’ insulation voltage, while reducing embedded CO2.
  • Design, develop and test new SST modules based on SiC (Silicon Carbide) semiconductor with a bidirectional inductive power transfer system, able to increase the individual voltage.
  • Implement a decentralized control cascade H-Bridge (CHB) converter to scale up the number of modules in a single SST device, making it smaller but with high performance.

The technology will be able to maximize the penetration of renewable energy sources (RES) while ensuring the correct and safe operation of the grid, and contributing to decarbonize the energy sector.
